Murderer, Iloilo’s number 6 most wanted cornered

            Camp Francisco U. Sumagaysay, Sr., STA. BARBARA, ILOILO, April 16 --- After several years of evading arrest for the three murders he committed, personnel from Lambunao police were able to arrest Gilbert Lavilla, 42 of Brgy. Cabatangan, Lambunao, Iloilo. He is considered as Iloilo Province’ Top Six Most Wanted person.

            The successful service of the three warrants for his arrest was led by Police Chief Inspector Elmer A. Armada, Lambunao Police Chief at 10:00 o’clock in the evening of April 11, 2015.

            The suspect was arrested at the house he is staying at Italian Villlage, Brgy. Pandan of the said town.

            Lavilla faces charges over the death of his relative in 2006, another death in 2011 and another one early this year.  He is also facing two Frustrated Murder charges.

            He is now detained at Lambunao Municpal Police Station while awaiting turn-over to the court for the proper disposition of his case.
